Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Kamui ("we", "us") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use the Kamui Driver mobile app ("the App").

Information we collect

Account information. When a dispatcher creates your driver account, we store your name and phone number. Your phone number is used as your login identifier and to send one-time verification codes via SMS.

Location data. While you have an active shift (after tapping "Check In" and before tapping "Check Out" or logging out), the App sends your device's GPS coordinates, speed, and heading to our servers approximately every 10 seconds. This data is used solely to share your position with your dispatcher in real time so they can route orders, calculate ETAs, and confirm delivery. Location collection stops automatically when you check out or log out. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings.

Order activity. We log events you create within the App such as order pickups, deliveries, payment confirmations, and photos you upload as proof of delivery.

Device data. We do not collect crash logs or analytics from your device. Standard server logs (timestamp, IP address) are retained for security and abuse prevention.

How we use information

• To authenticate you via SMS verification code.
• To deliver order assignments and route them to you.
• To share your live location with your dispatcher while on an active shift.
• To produce shift summaries and earnings reports for you and your dispatcher.

Sharing

• Your live location and order activity are shared with the dispatch operator(s) you work with. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for advertising.
• We may disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect against fraud or harm.

Retention

• Shift and location records are retained while you have an active driver account, then archived per the dispatcher's data-retention policy.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting your dispatcher or emailing support@kamui.work.

Your rights

You can:

• Stop location sharing immediately by tapping "Check Out" or logging out.
• Revoke any iOS permission via Settings → Kamui Driver.
• Request export or deletion of your data: support@kamui.work.

Children

The App is not intended for users under 18.
